Misty Mountains wilderness retreat is only available for 26 weeks of the year to help the beautiful rainforest regenerate.
The retreat offers the "Blue Lagoon Villa", nestled around a 400sq metre relaxation pool in magical tropical gardens, while the stunning new "Glass Club" features your own private state of the art bar and lounge, a pool table, dancing pole, 180cm LCD screen with surround sound and a spectacular lighting system. You also have a private "Think Tank" for meditation and massage, set above flowing streams and the rainforest. A private helipad is also available, while the environmentally friendly Electric Club Car is also yours to explore the 200 acres of natural wonderland.
We are located 40minutes south of Cairns in the heart of the famous Misty Mountains trail and all the major tourist attractions. These include the Great Barrier Reef, magnificent waterfalls, food trails, hot air ballooning, white water rafting, fishing, snorkel and SCUBA diving, bird watching, and much more...
Misty Mountains is an easy drive to the beautiful World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation National Park and renowned Port Douglas with its great array of international shopping, spectacular Mossman Gorge, and the scenic Atherton Tablelands overlooking the Coral Sea and dotted with amazing waterfalls.
This complete "Pleasure Package" includes a chilled bottle of French Champagne on arrival, a massage for two, tropical flowers, fruit and chocolate in-basket with the entire retreat (Blue Lagoon Villa, Glass Club and Think Tank) yours for $880 including GST, per night per couple.
In order to provide you and your partner utmost privacy we don't provide table-ready cuisine however if you want to dine in we will arrange food provisions upon request. Alternatively you might want to enjoy the multitude of restaurants and cafes within easy proximity to Misty Mountains that offer fresh tropical seafood and local fruits and produce that is guaranteed to delight the most discerning pallet.
The Blue Lagoon Villa features all the contemporary comforts including large plasma and cable TV, DVD, stereo, A/C, gas oven and cook top, coffee machine, dishwasher, Spa bath overlooking rainforest, Weber BBQ, swinging love chair, outdoor dining and a 180 degree deck.
